Maintain Warranty

For the last twenty years major fleet operators and management companies have been able to agree with manufacturers that their use of independent, non-franchised Service Centres to perform scheduled servicing and repairs will not affect the validity of the warranty on the vehicle.

Since 2003 the EU Competition authorities have enshrined this arrangement in law, under Block Exemption regulations. This now means that a manufacturer can no longer insist that his vehicles must be maintained within his franchised network in order to ensure the terms of his warranty are maintained. This legal right applies to ALL vehicles operated by any size of fleet or owned by any individual driver, whether company or private.

Here at Prestige Fleet Servicing [and our sister company Prestige Car Servicing] we have been delivering the benefits of these legal freedoms through our accredited Service Centres for most of the last decade, so that thousands of customers and their vehicles have obtained the best and most competitive terms for their vehicle service, maintenance and repair.

On your behalf we are required to ensure that your vehicle is serviced according to the schedule recommended by the manufacturer, and that we use only parts which are of an equivalent quality to the original equipment [OE] fitted during the vehicle's manufacture. All our Service Centres adhere to this stringent requirement. Every vehicle we service retains its manufacturer warranty, and you can be confident that your vehicle will fall squarely into this category when you transact with us.
